Kindred October Updates: The Kindred Advisor Directory is Live!

We’re only a couple months removed from our 6-month journey at Purdue DIAL Ventures, but we’re excited to announce two important Kindred updates:

1️⃣ One thing we’ve noticed in our customer outreach is that many farm families have not engaged, or are “in-between,” one or more trusted advisors. Questions we’ve heard quite often: “Can you recommend an estate attorney who specializes in farm transitions?” Or, “Do you know any mediators who can help us with a difficult family member?” And, “My CPA retired. Any recommendations?”

At Kindred, we’re not just building software, we’re building an ecosystem & community to help farm families navigate the very complex succession planning process. To that end, today we launched the Kindred Advisor Directory – 400 listings and counting – to help farm families search for any type of advisor they might need along the way.

2️⃣ Kindley, our AI-powered succession planning advisor, reached an important milestone last week – exceeding 250 farm family & advisor sessions! Kindley has two modes to provide info & answers on all-things succession planning:

“Ask Me Anything” – families can ask open-ended questions about any succession planning topic.

“Scenario Modeler” – the bot prompts families for farm financial and ops data, ownership structures, land & asset info & family goals, then provides tailored recommendations and tips.

We’ve also made both Kindley modes embeddable:
